‘Good Neighbour’ Schemes in Mid-Beds
set-up and run by local residents with the support of Beds Rural Communities
Charity
We will also consider other requests, such as you make to a neighbour, where alternative transport is not available. Each response to a request is at the discretion of our volunteers. We offer support to people in the community that would otherwise not receive help. So if you need help and don’t know where to get it please call. Volunteers do not undertake any services best left to qualified trades people.

COULD YOU HELP US? WE ALWAYS NEED MORE VOLUNTEERS
If you would like to help this worthwhile charity, even if you only have a few hours a week we would be delighted to hear from you.
If you are less than 80 years old, and have transport, would you be willing to take people to and from medical appointments? (Mostly local but all within a 15 mile radius).
Would you be willing to help with shopping, errands or befriending those who would welcome a chat now and again?
Or simply help at home with hanging curtains, changing light bulbs, fuses etc? (excludes jobs best done by qualified local trades people)
Can you take a turn in answering our phone and book a volunteer to help out?
